Creating and offering happiness is Claude’s life mission. He aims to show another image of life, one without pressure.
Claude himself went through a growth process, relinquishing his comfortable life in Canada to embark on a year-long spiritual journey in 1992. This led him to live a life on the road less travelled for almost eight years. The conclusion was the realisation of a dream to share his experiences with others. He set up a retreat centre in Bali where people have the opportunity to re-evaluate their lives and re-discover their true selves and values; without pressure and in an unpretentious yet comfortable and enjoyable way. The centre has been visited by thousands of guests since its opening.
After having personally experienced the amazing healing power of Ayurveda, Claude realized early in 2015 that it was time to make another dream come true and started the process of creating an authentic Ayurvedic panchakarma centre in Ubud. In 2016 Oneworld Ayurveda opened its doors.
“Bali has great therapeutical powers to calm and heal with its magical nature, colours and people. As long as you manage to blend in to this diversity, you will find inner peace.”
Yoga teacher, retreat leader, owner and co-founder of Oneworld Retreats Iyan Yaspriyana lives his life with passion. He has no doubts that he will reach his dreams and is using many tools and techniques to make them come true.
Iyan was trained and certified as a yoga teacher in 2001 by LouisaSear, owner of the Australian Yoga Arts School. Originally biology teacher in Jakarta, Iyan moved to Bali in the late ’90s and founded the Indonesia Language Teaching programme for the expat community. But yoga and leading retreats soon became his full-time life.
Iyan’s method of teaching yoga reflects his view of life—one moment at a time and continually evolving. He is very happy to share his vast knowledge and life experience.
Ninnu Sudarshan, BAMS
Ninnu Sudarshan received his degree B.A.M.S. of Ayurveda from the renowned Pankajakasthuri Ayurveda Medical College in Kerala, India, the cradle of Ayurveda. He had the opportunity to interact with many eminent doctors practicing authentic Ayurveda during his studies.

He built up his own Panchakarma center in Kollam, as well as a pharmacy producing genuine Ayurvedic medicines, which many hospitals around Kerala use today. He has practised all the Panchakarma therapies and also para surgical methods such as venesection and leech therapy. His passion for the science of Ayurveda and his great desire to help the sick encouraged him to study and practice the Varma techniques that have instant impact on the human body by stimulating the vital nerve points and the plexus.
Ninnu is highly interested in spirituality and has good knowledge of Yoga Sastra. His treatment plans use yoga, meditation, pranayama and lifestyle recommendations in addition to the Ayurvedic treatments and are, therefore, attractive to the patients as they attain both physiological and psychological wellbeing.

Wayan is a lover of yoga, dance, and Kirtan. He completed his yoga teacher training with Yoga Arts—a Yoga Alliance Accredited teacher training—in 2010 and is a certified yoga teacher.
Wayan is the principal yoga teacher at Oneworld Ayurveda, leading the daily sessions as well as the one-on-one yoga classes and taking care of the spiritual rituals. He has developed a very special style of teaching, based on Hatha flow that brings harmony, ease and balance to the mind and body. Wayan’s background in Balinese dance has guided him to develop a most unique yoga practice.
Born and raised within a community deeply rooted in Balinese culture, Wayan lives a rather busy traditional village life. When not guiding practitioners of all levels on the mat, he is committed and involved in regular Hindu ceremonies and has four vibrant children that keep him well-occupied!
Komang Desiani or Desy was born in a small village near the beach in East Bali to a family of farmers. She grew up being in nature and familiarising herself with the Balinese traditions.
Her yoga journey started when she was going through a difficult patch in her life and noticed how the practice helped her get along. She has been practicing intensively since 2014, expanding her knowledge by learning the yoga philosophy, including its supporting elements—Meditation, Pranayama, Kriya, Ayurveda, and Sanskrit.
Desy is a big fan of yoga festivals and likes to experience many different yoga styles. Committed to going deeper into yoga, she took the Local Yoga Teacher Training and then decided to leave her thirteen years’ career in education to fulfill her passion for yoga. In 2019, Desy finished her Yoga Teacher Training with the famous Louisa Sear of the Yoga Arts.
She believes that the best job is when we can do what we love while making other people smile with happiness. Improving her competence and serving from the heart is part of her commitment.
Wayan was born in Tampaksiring to a family of cooks where recipes were passed from one generation to the next. Therefore, Wayan’s decision to become a cook himself was not a big surprise.
After his studies, he went abroad and gained experience by working in Kuwait, the Seychelles, Miami as well as on cruise ships and in well-known restaurants in Bali. Wayan joined bridges in 2014 and is well-loved and respected by his team.
His passion for his métier and for bridges shows on your plate!
